I Think These Girls Love Cotton Too!

Some of you know my dear friend Marjory and some of you may even remember photos I shared of her & her girls when they came to St. Louis to spend spring break with me. Well in the past week, Marjory has posted two really cute photos that I asked if I could make my wordless Wednesday. She said yes!

The first of the two pictures is one of Miss K, Miss A & a friend of theirs as they checked crops on the farm. When they got back in the truck to head out, they each took a boll with them. Marjory summed it up saying “You can take the girls out of the cotton, but you can’t always get the cotton out of the girls!” How cute are they with those cotton bolls behind their ears or in their ponytails! cute farm kids This one is a drawing by Miss A and shows rain falling on cotton, corn and beans. I love how she drew the different crops! I have to think she has bee paying attention to some of the key physiological differences of the crops! kid's drawing of cotton If you are interested in learning more about the crop, you can check out my cotton 101 series!

I am sure their daddy would love one of his girls to follow in his footsteps & become a farmer! They both love spending time helping out on the farm…. They also love sports, tea parties, etc so who knows! 🙂
