The Most Unique SillyBands I’ve Seen

My niece introduced me to the sillybands craze several months ago. She’s eight years old and loves the things! The fact that there are unique ones out there really grabs her. I can still remember her telling me when she got the first glow in the dark ones.

It seems that silly bands gained popularity right as we were heading out last spring for a weekend camping trip with some of my life-long friends. and you can see from the photo, she kept those things on in great numbers! Knowing how much importance seemed to be placed on the things, I bought some to be sure we could cover in case a kid didn’t have any. (I know, that’s goofy but I’d hate for someone else not to have that joy of comparing the shapes their bracelets are when they aren’t on their wrist. LOL)

These are the sort of rare, unique silly bands she would love. Afterall, she loves a really good hamburger or steak and she also loves sillybands! I hope I can get her some!

Where to get unique sillybands

The photo is from Brett Barham, who works with the Arkansas extension service as an Associate Professor – Breeding and Genetics & State Beef Cattle Specialist University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.  And Brett says the Arkansas Beef Council will be handing these out during the Arkansas State Fair! Yes folks, they are free!

According to a quick look around the web, the 2010 Arkansas State Fair begins October 8. There is some information available here. I don’t know if I can make it to the fair before it closes October 17 but these free silly bands give me a reason to consider the drive over! Not only can I get some silly bands, but hopefully I could talk to some beef producers too!
